Challenges are our quest product, which allows you to accept and earn for completing specific game tasks.

What are Challenges?

Challenges are a task or a set of tasks in a specific game that a player must complete in order to unlock an achievement and/or a token reward (for sponsored challenges). During early stages, challenges are added by GamerGains, but in the future they will come from community contributors or game publishers. An example of a challenge is getting 100 headshots with a weapon on CS:GO within 24 hours.

Once a player accepts a challenge (which may be gated by a token payment or a staking requirement, or some non-economic conditions), the platform starts tracking the player’s progress. Once the goal is reached, a token payment will be unlocked and credited directly to the player’s GamerGains vault.

FAQ

How long do I have to complete a Challenge?

During the beta phase, the platform offers daily challenges. There are two types of challenge clocks:

1. Daily Challenge Clock: resets available challenges every 24 hours

1. Challenge-Specific Challenge Clock: once a challenge is accepted, that challenge is given a 24 hour window to complete

Once a challenge is completed, the tokens are paid out directly to a users GamerGains vault. These tokens will be redeemable once $GAMER token goes live.

Can I complete multiple challenge at a time?

Yes, you can complete as many challenges as you'd like at a time, but free members can only accept challenges from one game at a time. Upgrading to GamerGains Pro allows you to accept challenges from multiple games at a time.

For example, if you accepted a Fortnite challenge, you can't accept a Rocket League challenge at the same time.
