Challenges are live!
Challenges are a task or a set of tasks in a specific game that a player must complete in order to unlock an achievement and/or a token reward (for sponsored challenges). During early stages, challenges are added by GamerGains, but in the future they will come from community contributors or game publishers. An example of a challenge is getting 100 headshots with a weapon on CS:GO within 24 hours.
Once a player accepts a challenge (which may be gated by a token payment or a staking requirement, or some non-economic conditions), the platform starts tracking the player’s progress. Once the goal is reached, a token payment will be unlocked and credited directly to the player’s GamerGains vault.
GamerGains Challenges currently supports the following games:
Apex Legends
Brawl Stars
Counter-Strike 2
Dota 2
Fortnite
Overwatch 2
PUBG
Rainbow Six: Siege
Rocket League
Note: The GamerGains team will be listening to our community and continue to add challenges for our current lineup of supported games as well as new games requested by the community. Join our Discord server to request your favorite game!
During the beta phase, the platform offers daily challenges. There are two types of challenge clocks. A daily challenge clock which resets available challenges every 24 hours. There's also a time specific challenge clock which gives users 24 hours to complete an accepted challenge. Once a challenge is completed, the tokens are paid out directly to a users GamerGains vault. These tokens will be redeemable once $GAMER token goes live.
